This is a really nice bed. It is solid wood as advertised. It s so hard to find a solid wood bed these days. Beware Many beds on amazon advertise as solid wood but they are _NOT_ - be sure to check customer reviews to know for sure. This bed is definitely sold wood and not composite or garbage like that. Bed is very solid and kids love it. This tall version is a lot nicer than the standard shorter version as it gives a LOT more head room for the child on the lower bunk. Very impressed, would definitely buy again.
